Meet Dr. Kristina Hapney
Education
Dr. Hapney realized early on how important a smile is for confidence and how it impacts the way others see you after having braces as a teen. Upon graduating high school, she left Ohio where she grew up, and moved to Greenville, PA to attend Thiel College. She earned a B.A. in Chemistry and completed the pre-dental program in only three years while working as a dental assistant. She was blessed to be selected as an international Rotary Ambassador and was able to study Dental Technology and learn to do dental lab work while spending a year abroad in Cardiff, Wales. She attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she earned her DMD degree. She was fortunate to receive many awards for her research in cleft palate development in which she won 3rd place in the nation. She and her husband moved to Simpsonville, SC in 2005 and she founded Five Forks Dental Care, Inc.
Outreach
Dr. Hapney continues to devote her career to helping individuals achieve the smile of their dreams and maintain excellent oral health. She provides unparallelled patient care in the areas of cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry but patients know her for her ability to listen and translate their desires and concerns into smiles that are as functional as they are attractive. Her professional goal is to offer her patients dentistry of the highest expertise and integrity through personal dedication, continuous education and use of the very best materials and advanced techniques. Dr. Hapney volunteers at Greenville Free Medical Clinic which provides free care to local people in need and is a participating dentist in the Give Back A Smile program with the AACD Foundation through which she helps to provide cosmetic dentistry to survivors of domestic abuse.
Personal Life
Dr. Hapney attends New Spring Church in Greenville, SC. She is blessed to have a daughter, Eleni Sue. In Dr. Hapney's spare time, she enjoys traveling, photography, swimming, learning about other cultures, playing with her Yorkie and spending time with her family and friends.

I highly recommend Five Forks Dental. The atmosphere is very comforting and the staff members are exceptional. Mrs. Treva has done a fantastic job not only creating a great plan of action, but also carrying out the work itself. This is the best experience I’ve has thus far.

I was made to feel right at home. My dental hygienist Cheryl was excellent at explaining the entire process and made me very comfortable. They even offer a complimentary parafin wax hand treatment during the dental cleaning. Highly recommend this debtist.

I’ve been out of the “chair” for over ten years and the only experience I recall is when I was active duty. My treatment and experience at Five Forks Dental Care was first class. Starting with the reception desk (Malisa) and ending with checkout (Savannah). My technician “Frannie” was professional, courteous, friendly, and sensitive to my needs. Throughout the whole visit she explained to me on what exactly she was doing as well as educated me on what was going on in my “cave”. I asked for a breakdown of the fees associated with my care and it was provided on site. Had the pleasure of meeting the “headmaster”, Dr. H who clearly explained what follow up treatments are to come with no pressure to commit. In my experiences dealing with the dentist, I must say FFDC is in a class on its own. Kudos to the whole staff that took care of my dearest and myself. Oh almost forgot Becca (go Air Force) 😀

I have really enjoyed this practice since switching about a year and half ago! The staff is great, you get a hand parafin wax while your cleaned and the atmosphere is lovely! More importantly they are thorough and found a lot of things my old dentist missed. Quality care, for sure!
