Meet Dr. Kristina Hapney
Education
Dr. Hapney realized early on how important a smile is for confidence and how it impacts the way others see you after having braces as a teen. Upon graduating high school, she left Ohio where she grew up, and moved to Greenville, PA to attend Thiel College. She earned a B.A. in Chemistry and completed the pre-dental program in only three years while working as a dental assistant. She was blessed to be selected as an international Rotary Ambassador and was able to study Dental Technology and learn to do dental lab work while spending a year abroad in Cardiff, Wales. She attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she earned her DMD degree. She was fortunate to receive many awards for her research in cleft palate development in which she won 3rd place in the nation. She and her husband moved to Simpsonville, SC in 2005 and she founded Five Forks Dental Care, Inc.
Outreach
Dr. Hapney continues to devote her career to helping individuals achieve the smile of their dreams and maintain excellent oral health. She provides unparallelled patient care in the areas of cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry but patients know her for her ability to listen and translate their desires and concerns into smiles that are as functional as they are attractive. Her professional goal is to offer her patients dentistry of the highest expertise and integrity through personal dedication, continuous education and use of the very best materials and advanced techniques. Dr. Hapney volunteers at Greenville Free Medical Clinic which provides free care to local people in need and is a participating dentist in the Give Back A Smile program with the AACD Foundation through which she helps to provide cosmetic dentistry to survivors of domestic abuse.
Personal Life
Dr. Hapney attends New Spring Church in Greenville, SC. She is blessed to have a daughter, Eleni Sue. In Dr. Hapney's spare time, she enjoys traveling, photography, swimming, learning about other cultures, playing with her Yorkie and spending time with her family and friends.

If there were a six star option I would have rated Five Forks Dental at the highest echelon without hesitation. I would rarely be the person to go out of my way to review a service I received however, I feel compelled to share my experience with the countless others that fear the dentist. I would dread the very inkling of a visit to the dentist, the awkwardness of someone in your mouth, the impatient waiting rooms filled with angst and a heavy silence lingering between one worried patient to another. Upon a tremendous recommendation I have found the apex of service. The warm and homey atmosphere from entrance to exit is unlike any dental office I have ever known or experienced. Chandler my dental assistant ushered me through every step of my tooth removal and with a feeling less like professional to patient and more like friend to friend, which is so difficult to accomplish in a setting such as this. Dr. Hapney who performed the extraction was so intelligent and skilled at what she was doing I hardly noticed she was pulling out a molar. Dr. King performed my follow up with perfect feedback and advice for future care. Honestly everyone was so knowledgeable and attentive I know I've found a practice for life and I for the very first time, am actually look forward to my next trip to the dentist.
Bravo Ladies!
