Community Outreach
At Five Forks Dental Care we believe in the importance of giving back to the community and providing dental care to those who may not have the opportunity to receive quality dental care. Here are some of our outreach services:
Dominican Republic Mission Trip
Five Forks Dental Care is off to spread free smiles and save lives in the Dominican Republic! In April 2018, ten members of our team will be providing dental and oral care, as well as medical and humanitarian aid to the people of the Dominican Republic. With the help of World Mission Partners, we are thrilled to help pave the way for many future medical/dental mission teams and to serve the people of the Dominican Republic.
If you would like to support this mission trip, you can donate to our GoFundMe page.
Veteran's Day Program
Beginning in 2015, Dr. Hapney and staff have honored the veterans in the local area for their service as they volunteered to provide services at NO cost to veterans. We were able to help 18 local veterans and provide over $15,000 in care!
Give Back A Smile
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation's (AACDCF) Give Back a Smile (GBAS) program heals some of the most devastating effects of domestic and sexual violence. We help by restoring the smiles of adult women and men who have suffered dental injuries to the front teeth, from a former intimate partner, spouse, family member, or due to sexual assault. One smile could light up the whole world!
Donated Dental Services
Five Forks Dental Care works with Donated Dental Services (DDS) program through Dental Lifeline Network (DLN). It is a charitable organization whose mission is to improve the oral health of people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile and have no other way to get help. DLN accomplishes its mission by developing and coordinating collaborative relationships that provide essential resources for direct-service programs, especially charitable care. Since 1986, DDS has provided over $280 million in treatment to highly vulnerable people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile.
Greenville Free Medical Clinic
Dr. Hapney has been volunteering with the Greenville Free Medical Clinic for eight years. Their mission is to promote wellness and to provide caring, quality primary medical care and dental services, health education and prescription medications without charge to eligible low-income uninsured Greenville County residents.

I came to five forks dental to have a root canal and the staff was extremely nice and made me feel at ease. Dr Vance did a wonderful job explaining everything to me. There was also not a long wait. I was seated within a few minutes.

This is by far the best dental office in Greenville! Everyone in the office is so warm and welcoming, and they do a great job of taking care of you and your teeth. I love Dr. Vance, she takes great care in her work and does a great job and explaining the treatment plans. They are also very accommodating financially.

There are not adequate words to describe the exceptional experience I had at Five Forks Dental Care. I had not been to the dentist in a very long time due to sheer embarrassment and high anxiety. From the sweet Savannah that scheduled my appointmen to Christina, Dr. King to Cheryl my hygienist the staff was extremely compassionate and showed genuine concern not only for my dental health but also to the fact that I was so self conscious. Dr. King made absolutely sure I understood what my issues were and laid out a detailed treatment plan with all my options. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for the highest quality dental care and a staff that sees you as a person.
