Community Outreach
At Five Forks Dental Care we believe in the importance of giving back to the community and providing dental care to those who may not have the opportunity to receive quality dental care. Here are some of our outreach services:
Dominican Republic Mission Trip
Five Forks Dental Care is off to spread free smiles and save lives in the Dominican Republic! In April 2018, ten members of our team will be providing dental and oral care, as well as medical and humanitarian aid to the people of the Dominican Republic. With the help of World Mission Partners, we are thrilled to help pave the way for many future medical/dental mission teams and to serve the people of the Dominican Republic.
If you would like to support this mission trip, you can donate to our GoFundMe page.
Veteran's Day Program
Beginning in 2015, Dr. Hapney and staff have honored the veterans in the local area for their service as they volunteered to provide services at NO cost to veterans. We were able to help 18 local veterans and provide over $15,000 in care!
Give Back A Smile
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation's (AACDCF) Give Back a Smile (GBAS) program heals some of the most devastating effects of domestic and sexual violence. We help by restoring the smiles of adult women and men who have suffered dental injuries to the front teeth, from a former intimate partner, spouse, family member, or due to sexual assault. One smile could light up the whole world!
Donated Dental Services
Five Forks Dental Care works with Donated Dental Services (DDS) program through Dental Lifeline Network (DLN). It is a charitable organization whose mission is to improve the oral health of people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile and have no other way to get help. DLN accomplishes its mission by developing and coordinating collaborative relationships that provide essential resources for direct-service programs, especially charitable care. Since 1986, DDS has provided over $280 million in treatment to highly vulnerable people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile.
Greenville Free Medical Clinic
Dr. Hapney has been volunteering with the Greenville Free Medical Clinic for eight years. Their mission is to promote wellness and to provide caring, quality primary medical care and dental services, health education and prescription medications without charge to eligible low-income uninsured Greenville County residents.

The entire staff are Amazing! When I say amazing, I mean it! I have a terrible fear of dentist so I was so diappointed that I had to go in as I had the begining stages of an absest tooth. I knew that if I waited it would get much worst, never think that it's going to heal by itself because the pain will get worse and the expenses are just as painful.
When I went in my anxiety was at it's peak, but it didn't take long to feel at ease. I received a sincere welcome by two sweet girls at the front desk. As I filled out the paperwork my anxiety began to creep back in, but then a sweet assistant Casey called me back and gave me a tour of this incredible business. They offer so much more than dental care (who knew). They have a beautiful relaxed environment which includes a day spa, really? Oh my gosh! The entire setting was so clean and peaceful.
It's now time to get in the chair
Come to find out my tooth with an old mercury filling was cracked so it had to go. Knowing what was coming next my level of anxiety was surprisingly low. I was so relaxed by the staff and setting. The numbing process was a breeze, the extraction was pretty quick and I didn't taste a drop of blood, thank you Casey! I had my followup visit and got great news, it's healing well. I was given easy to follow post-op instructions and some supplies to help the healing process. I highly recommend Five Forks Dental!!!

I have been going here for years and just love it. I do not know of any other dentist that gives a complimentary hand paraffin treatment while you have your teeth cleaned. It is a spa and dentist in one.

I went for my regularly scheduled cleaning (my first time at five forks dental after switching from my previous dentist). Angie, who was my hygienist, was very detail oriented and spent quite a bit of time doing a detailed analysis of oral health before proceeding with cleaning / polishing. The dental clinic is well maintained with what what looks like to be latest equipment.
