Community Outreach
At Five Forks Dental Care we believe in the importance of giving back to the community and providing dental care to those who may not have the opportunity to receive quality dental care. Here are some of our outreach services:
Dominican Republic Mission Trip
Five Forks Dental Care is off to spread free smiles and save lives in the Dominican Republic! In April 2018, ten members of our team will be providing dental and oral care, as well as medical and humanitarian aid to the people of the Dominican Republic. With the help of World Mission Partners, we are thrilled to help pave the way for many future medical/dental mission teams and to serve the people of the Dominican Republic.
If you would like to support this mission trip, you can donate to our GoFundMe page.
Veteran's Day Program
Beginning in 2015, Dr. Hapney and staff have honored the veterans in the local area for their service as they volunteered to provide services at NO cost to veterans. We were able to help 18 local veterans and provide over $15,000 in care!
Give Back A Smile
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation's (AACDCF) Give Back a Smile (GBAS) program heals some of the most devastating effects of domestic and sexual violence. We help by restoring the smiles of adult women and men who have suffered dental injuries to the front teeth, from a former intimate partner, spouse, family member, or due to sexual assault. One smile could light up the whole world!
Donated Dental Services
Five Forks Dental Care works with Donated Dental Services (DDS) program through Dental Lifeline Network (DLN). It is a charitable organization whose mission is to improve the oral health of people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile and have no other way to get help. DLN accomplishes its mission by developing and coordinating collaborative relationships that provide essential resources for direct-service programs, especially charitable care. Since 1986, DDS has provided over $280 million in treatment to highly vulnerable people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile.
Greenville Free Medical Clinic
Dr. Hapney has been volunteering with the Greenville Free Medical Clinic for eight years. Their mission is to promote wellness and to provide caring, quality primary medical care and dental services, health education and prescription medications without charge to eligible low-income uninsured Greenville County residents.

The service is really great here! All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Besides having a state of the art office, up-to-date technology, and a variety of spa services, their flexible scheduling is another unique aspect of Five Forks Dental Care. To date, they are the only dental office (of which I am aware) that schedules Saturday appointment!!!! This is a big deal for me since I am a UPS driver and typically work well past their daily closing hours during the Monday-Friday work week. Before, I would have to schedule a day off just to make my dental appointments, or go in before work. The latter really would stress me out because I didn't want to be late for work, which did happen when I was at another office. The Saturday appointments are consistent, convenient, and care-free (i.e., stress-free--just sticking with the 'c' alliteration here...lol). Please keep up the good work, and as Arnold S would say: "I'll be back!"
